Verify a certificateScan the QR code, or enter the full VIN
Scanning the QR code on the certificate or badge opens the certificate directly. Without one, enter the full 17-character VIN from under the windscreen; you get the car's newest certificate.
Data and security
Encrypted storage
Certificates are stored in a managed Postgres database hosted in Tokyo, encrypted at rest and encrypted in transit.
Masked VIN
The public page shows only the last eight characters of the VIN. Never the full VIN, internal notes or raw measurement logs.
Access control
Row-level security restricts database access. The public interface can read only published certificates.
Private files
Raw measurement files are kept in a private bucket that only we can access.
Random IDs
Certificate IDs are randomly generated and cannot be guessed in sequence.
